Their sound is transcontinental, Jackson’s folk rock background blends with Best’s alt-country melodies. Informed by their life experiences (navigating visas, vanlife, love across oceans) and commentary on environmental and social justice topics, the album mixes electric guitars, Appalachian dulcimer, gospel-tinged vocals and honky-tonk fiddle.
